With so many skincare products on the market and so many possible combinations, it is hard to know what you are meant to do for the best skin care results.
Nighttime is especially important as it is an opportunity for your face to rest, free from stressing environmental factors such as pollution and the sun's damaging rays. At night your face is able to better absorb the nutrients from your skincare products so a good nighttime routine is essential.
Step 1) Makeup Remover
For good skin health, it is imperative that all your makeup is removed every night. If makeup is left on your skin it can cause extensive damage as the skin is unable to breathe and regenerate.
Almond Oil: almond oil is an efficient natural face cleanser. It is hypoallergenic and sensitive enough to use on a baby's skin. It has antioxidant properties and is enriched with Vitamin E, which nourishes that skin and provides a shield from the sun's harsh rays.

Step 2) Toner
Toners unclog your skin, shrinks your pores and restores your pH balance. It is an extra layer of protection, tightening up all the gaps.
Raw Apple Cider Vinegar - Raw apple cider vinegar is made from fermented apples, so it has all the nutrients that apples do. It also has antibacterial and antiseptic properties which is a bonus if you are dealing with skin problems.
Toner Recipe -
mix 1 part raw apple cider vinegar with 4 parts water - sensitive skin OR
mix 1 part raw apple cider vinegar with 2 parts water - normal skin OR
mix 1 part raw apple cider vinegar with 1 part water - oily skin
store in a glass or plastic container
use a cotton wipe to gently to lightly smooth it over your skin, do not rinse off
Serums provide the skin with powerful nutrients that are absorbed into the skin. They are made from small particles which can penetrate deeply into the skin. This makes them efficient at targeting specific skin problems eg, acne, aging
A serum is specific to your skin needs. Using essential oils is one way to customise a serum for your skin.
Serum Recipe -
add 60mls of a carrier oil to a clean bottle (normal; sunflower or sweet almond oil. sensitive; avocado or rosehip seed oil, oily; grapeseed oil, mature; apricot kernel or rosehip seed oil, dry; avocado or sunflower oil, acne; sesame grapeseed oil)
add 20 drops of essential oil to the bottle (normal; lavender or frankincense, sensitive; lavender or rose, oily; tea tree or peppermint, mature; ylang ylang or lavender, dry; lavender and myrrh, acne; tea tree or rose)
apply a drop to your forehead, each cheek and your chin
gently massage it in, using soft upward strokes
Moisturising your face daily reduces the chance of developing extreme dryness or oiliness, both of which lead to skin aging and acne.
Natural Solutions -
Coconut oil: Coconut oil is a great moisturiser, it also has anti-inflammatory properties so is good for irritated skin.
