Remove your fingers and wait for your nails to dry. Once they are dry paint with nail polish as usual. The apple cider vinegar removes the oil from the nails so the polish sticks well to the oil free nail as opposed to trying to adhere to oily nails.

Versatile apple cider vinegar not only helps nail polish last longer but it can also help to remove it.  To make this homemade nail polish remover you will need the juice from one lemon and 3 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar. In a small bowl mix these two ingredients together, they should be of about equal parts. Next soak your nails in warm water to loosen the polish. Then dip your fingers into the bowl of lemon and apple cider vinegar for about 30 seconds (it may sting a little). After that you can wipe the polish off with a cotton wipe. For stubborn polish you might want to soak the cotton wipe in the bowl first.
